Mursetter

A website designed to keep grassroots clubs moving. Seven services, one clear story, built for the busy volunteers and committee members who need the help most.

CLIENT   Jo Moar, founder

WHEN   2026

The starting point

A lot of help to offer, and no clear way to show it

Mursetter gives grassroots sports clubs and community organisations across New Zealand the practical support that keeps them running: governance, committee support, funding applications, admin, bookkeeping, health and safety, and communications.

That's a wide range of services, aimed at people who are short on time. Jo needed a website that explained it all simply, felt professional and credible, and still sounded like the approachable, community-minded business it is.

Seven services

Everything from governance to social media, organised so a club can find the help it needs fast.

Time-poor visitors

Volunteers and committee members need to recognise their problem, and the fix, in seconds.

Credible, not corporate

Professional enough to trust, without losing the warm, community feel of the business.

Every screen

It had to work properly on desktop, tablet and mobile, and make getting in touch easy on all three.

01 · The brand

A look that fits grassroots sport

I developed a visual direction that balances professionalism with the energy of community sport. A deep navy palette, teal accents and bold type give the whole site one consistent look, and purple calls to action stand out so visitors always know the next step.

The old site was dark, generic and hard to scan. The new one is built around who Mursetter actually helps.

02 · The website

Make the value clear before asking for action

I built the site as one connected journey rather than a pile of separate pages. Visitors see the pressures clubs face, the help on offer, real examples and the person behind it, in that order.

  • Seven service areas set out in one consistent framework: governance, committee and operational support, funding and grants, admin, bookkeeping, health and safety, and social media
  • Each service described by the practical problem it solves, not by jargon
  • Clear calls to action to explore services, read a club story or book a free support session
  • Fully responsive across desktop, tablet and mobile

03 · Building trust

Real clubs, real stories

People running community organisations want to know the person helping them understands their world. So the site leans on proof: dedicated club case studies, testimonials, and Jo's own background in grassroots sport.

Contacting Mursetter feels approachable and simple, with no hard sell. Behind the enquiry form, I set up automated emails and CRM automation, so every enquiry gets a quick reply and nothing slips through.

The guiding idea: make the value clear before asking anyone to take action.

“It's like she knows exactly what I am thinking even if I can't put it all into words. Her website design has just taken my business look from amateur to fully professional but without it having that generic corporate feel. I have already recommended her to others. She is a real godsend.”
